The "LIPAZ" Lidar Project: status and perspectives.

An update on the process of installation of an Alexandrite Lidar in La Paz is given. We describe the preparations for the arrival of the Lidar, the actual installation, the data we are expecting and also the research to be carried out. Our research is discussed from the point of view of the ALINE network.
